About Us

Leadership Aailnce for SDGs is a non-governmental organization registered in Tanzania with registration number ooNGO/R/4931 that works to empower all people with their skills, knowledge and resources needed to become effective leaders and agents of change in the communities, workplace, organization and the world around.

We strive to provide a strong platform for all people men and women engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration, build their leadership skills and knowledge, and take collective action towards achieving 17 SDGs, Objectives, indicators for raise awarenes of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) programs and their agendas locally and internationally.

Leadership Alliance for Sustainable Development Goals (LASDGs) was founded to respond to the growing need for capable leadership and institutional capacity in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The establishment of LASDGs was inspired by global capacity-building experiences, including participation in international leadership and governance programs such as Leadership Governance for SDGs, delivered by the International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD) under women’s leadership initiatives. Through this global exposure and mentorship, LASDGs’ founder gained practical knowledge that informed the creation of a locally grounded yet globally oriented organization.

LASDGs was established in Tanzania with a clear vision: to strengthen leadership, governance, and collaborative action for sustainable development—from communities to global platforms.
